Wednesday (3/21) – Earth, Wind, and Fire Tribute Band. The Earth, Wind & Fire Tribute Band is a talented and committed group of musicians and vocalists whose roots are in gospel music. They share a great love and appreciation for the style and musicianship of the premier band of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s Earth, Wind and Fire. The EWF Tribute Band is based in Maryland and pays homage to one of the greatest bands of its era, bringing to life the magical R&B, funk and Jazz sounds that continue to inspire and influence even the contemporary entertainers of today. Thursday (3/22) – Ronnie Laws. Ronnie Laws CD Release Party will be performing his new single “Settle Down”. In Ronnie Laws began his solo career with the album Pressure Sensitive, which yielded his most famous instrumental song, “Always There.” The song became an instant jazz-funk classic, covered by numerous artists. Laws has also recorded with numerous other artists, including Arthur Adams, Howard Hewett and Brian Culbertson. He co-produced and sang backup on his sister’s hit song, “Very Special.” Read More

Friday (3/23) – Soul Crackers & The Texas Chainsaw Horns feat. Stone Soul Picnic. Soul Crackers have been a popular fixture on the scene for more than 30 years and feature Washington Hall of Fame vocalist Tommy Lepson along with the Too Much Sisters (Caz Gardiner & Anita King), the Dancing Horns, and a rock solid rhythm section. Sunday (3/25) – Norman Connors is a GRAMMY Award Winning Legendary American jazz drummer, composer, arranger, and producer who have led some influential jazz and R&B groups. He has also achieved great known big R&B hits of the day, especially with love ballads. Norman Connors is possibly best known for the 1976 hit, “You Are My Starship” on which lead vocals were sung by Michael Henderson. Read More
