WEDNESDAY (5/17) – 

The Cookers, Ronnie Laws, Laurel Canyon, Golden songs of Los Angeles, Joe Clair & Friends Comedy Show, Persudaers – Thin line between love & hate.

Experience counts, especially in jazz and

each member of The Cookers have spent time leading his own
series of groups, and each has a keenly individual sound as well.
But it’s the unmistakable power of teamwork that makes this music
so commanding and resonates with a kind of depth and beauty
that speaks of the seasoned track record of its principals (combined,
the group has over 250 years of experience in the jazz world and
has been a part of over 1,000 recordings).  8pm  
 
THURSDAY (5/18)  –  Ronnie Laws has a nice soulful sound on tenor. Laws is a proven natural at combining the exploratory heart of Jazz with the broader reaching strains of Soul and Pop music. Throughout his career, which includes early-’70s gigs with Quincy Jones, Ramsey Lewis, Earth, Wind & Fire and his brother, Hubert Laws. He is often listed on Billboard’s contemporary jazz chart.  8pm   

FRIDAY (5/19)  – The legendary music scene found in Los Angeles and
 its neighboring magic-struck neighborhood, Laurel Canyon, are the focus of this new show from Newmyer Flyer. Celebrating the musical brilliance of more than a dozen legendary bands and performers who lived and made their music in and around L.A. “ Laurel Canyon: Golden Songs of Los Angeles” features a dream lineup of s ome of the D.C. area’s most accomplished and exciting young artists.  8pm  
SATURDAY (5/20) –  Joe Clair and Friends Comedy Show featuring comedians Bodacious, Ronnie Jorda and Lawrence Killabrew! 7pm & 10 pm  
SUNDAY (5/21) – The world famous, The Persuaders, internationally known for their Win Or Lose/ATCO/Atlantic Records multimillion seller “It’s A Thin Line Between Love and Hate” as well as “Some Guys Have All The Luck,” “Love Gonna Pack Up and Walk Out On You,” “Peace In The Valley of Love,” “Bad, Bold and Beautiful GIrl,” “You’re The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me,” “All Strung Out On You,” “Gambling On a Su re Shot,” and many more, are still touring and mesmerizing audiences around the world with their unique show.
